This well crafted knife uses a 3" M390 Black (Mil Spec) blade and frame lock locking system. The LionSteel ROK Red Solid Folder comes with a M390 sintered steel flipper that can be removed with the proper supplied key. There's no risk for the blade to damage the frame thanks to the hardened steel at the end of the locking bar.
