The handle on Benchmade's 482 Nakamura Megumi features deep red Cocobolo Wood with Carbon Fiber inlay. The 482's clip point blade works great for push cuts, slicing, skinning, and peeling. This is a manual opening knife that uses a thumb stud for assisted opening. Nak-Lok locking mechanism is built on the framework of a locking liner, the lock engages using the tensile strength, compared to the compression hold of more traditional locking liners.
