Benchmade's 556-BLU features strong and lightweight textured blue Noryl GTX handles with Double 420J stainless liners for added strength and ambidextrous thumb stud openers. The Mini Griptilian uses Benchmades famous AXIS lock mechanism, AXIS gets its function from a small, hardened steel bar that rides forward and back in a slot machined into both steel liners.
