The Model 551-1 Benchmade G10 Griptilian Folding Knife is outfitted with 3.45" plain edge satin CPM-20CV drop-point blade. Benchmade's 551-1 uses the famous AXIS® lock system and grey/blue G10 Handle with reversible tip up clip. The CPM-20CV blade steel gives the G10 Griptilian excellent edge holding retention and great corrosion resistance. This is a powder metal steel that takes a fine edge and maintains it. The Griptilian is designed by custom knife make Mel Pardue. Mel Pardue has been knife Making for 25 year and still counting.
