The Model KUR BST LionSteel KUR Santos Wood Folding Knife features stonewashed black PVD blade with Sleipner steel. Sleipner is a cold work tool steel from Bohler-Uddeholm with an attainable hardness of 60-64 Hrc. LionSteel's IKBS thrust bearing pivot system provides smooth and fast flipper action. The KUR BST's Santos Wood handle scales have a 3D machined texture making for great functioning and feel. The scales have been machined out to accept tumbled, PVD coated, steel liners that give the knife strength while reducing the overall weight. The LionSteel KUR tactical folding knife was designed by Michele "Molletta" Pensato. This is the big brother to the T.R.E. with a larger platform and more robust, hard use design.
